QUICHE LORRAINE 
9 inch pastry shell, unbaked
3 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 sm. onion
1 c. Swiss cheese
3 eggs
1 c. light cream
1 c. milk
Salt and pepper
1/8 tsp. nutmeg

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cook onion in 1 tablespoon bacon fat. Beat eggs slightly and add rest of ingredients. Pour in pastry shell and bake on lower shelf for 40 minutes.
