PRALINE FRENCH TOAST 
8 eggs
1 1/2 c. Half & Half
3/4 c. plus 1 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
8 slices French bread, 3/4 inch thick slices
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. maple syrup
3/4 c. chopped pecans

Blend eggs, Half and Half, 1 tablespoon brown sugar and vanilla. Pour 1/2 of mixture into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Place bread slices on top. Pour remaining mixture on top. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Next day: In another 9 x 13 inch pan, melt butter and remaining 3/4 cup brown sugar, syrup and nuts. Place soaked bread slices on top of this.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Puffs up and turns a golden brown.

This recipe is delicious served with bacon, ham or sausage.
