1 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream together above ingredients and add 2 eggs.

2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda

Add to creamed mixture and add 3 cups chocolate chips and 1 cup nuts (optional). Bake 8 to 10 minutes on greased cookie sheet.
