SOUTHERN CORN BREAD 
1 c. corn meal
2 fresh yard eggs
2 oz. vegetable oil (this may vary)
2 tbsp. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. sugar
1 c. sweet milk

Mix all ingredients. Add enough water to make mixture very "liquid" so that it pours easily. Heat a small iron skillet containing a small amount of oil. When pan is hot and oil is smoking, add the batter. Bake in a preheated 420 degree oven for about 30 to 40 minutes or until nicely browned and turns esily out of the pan. May be eaten hot or cold.
