SOUTHERN CORN BREAD 
1 c. flour
1 c. cornmeal
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (6 oz.) sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded med. fine
2 tbsp. sugar (optional)
1 (8 1/2 oz.) can cream style corn
1/3 c. milk
1/4 c. vegetable oil
2 lg. eggs

In medium bowl, stir together flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt and sugar. Stir in cheese, corn, milk and oil.
