APRIL'S LOUISIANA PASTA SALAD
(NOW A TEXAN)
 
1 (16 oz.) box Rotini pasta
1 purple onion, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
4 to 6 Roma tomatoes (or 1 box halved cherry tomatoes)
1 bag (+/-) real bacon bits
1 bottle KRAFT Bacon Ranch (or regular ranch and mix up dressing part the night before adding 1/4 cup bacon bits to it)
2 to 3 tbsp. milk*
1 tsp. onion powder
1/2 to 1 tsp. garlic powder
salt and pepper, to taste

Note: Use a little milk in dressing bottle to remove the rest of the dressing and thin the dressing for easier stirring.

Boil pasta al denté, drain well, and place in a bowl. Cool pasta in bowl while preparing the rest.

Dice onion, bell pepper and tomatoes and add into the bowl of pasta.

Add the bacon bits to the same bowl.

Mix together the dressing, onion and garlic powder, salt and pepper together.

Mix everything together and place in refrigerator at least 3 hours before serving.
