AUNT SALLY'S COOKIES 
1 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1/2 c. molasses
5 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 tsp. baking soda

Mix, chill, roll out thick and cut with Spam can. Bake 350 or less. Frost.

FROSTING:

1 env. plain gelatin dissolved in 3/4 c. water

Add:

3/4 c. sugar

Simmer 10 minutes.

Add:

3/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat until thick. Frost bottom of cookies, let set to dry.
