FRENCH TOAST 
4 egg whites (or 1 egg & 2 egg whites)
2 tbsp. skim milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
4 slices stale whole grain bread (or thin sliced bread)

Beat egg whites. Add milk, cinnamon and vanilla. Dip slices of bread in mixture, coating both sides and place in a skillet. Turn when bottom is brown. French toast may also be grilled under a broiler. Serve with applesauce or a combination of fresh fruits. Makes 4 servings.
