SALISBURY STEAK SLICED POTATOES 
2 large potatoes, sliced thin
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 large onion, diced
3 sliced bread, cubed
1 c. stewed tomatoes, canned
1/2 tsp. seasoning salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Combine beef, onion, bread cubes, 1/2 of tomatoes, salt and pepper, shape into oval patties. Arrange potato slices in a greased oven casserole dish, dot with butter. Arrange meat patties over potatoes. Bake 20 minutes. Pour remaining tomatoes over meat. Continue baking in 350 degrees until potatoes are tender and meat is done. About 10 minutes. Serve 4 to 5 people.
