GRANDMA'S BEEF STEW 
1 1/2 lbs. good stew meat
3 sm. onions, cut up
1 bag carrots, cut up
6 med. potatoes, cut up
Salt, pepper, celery salt
4 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. butter
Water

Cut beef into small pieces and roll in flour. Saute onions in butter, add meat and brown. Cover with water and simmer until tender (covered). Be sure to check water level so as not to burn. Add potatoes, carrots, salt, pepper, and celery salt. Cook until vegetables are tender. Stir remaining flour into 1 cup of water and add to stew to thicken. Good with homemade biscuits.
