HICKORY NUT CAKE | |
2 c. sifted flour 2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. shortening 2 eggs 1 c. canned milk 2 tsp. cream of tartar 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. nuts Mix well. Using a 9 x 13-inch pan greased and floured, bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Test with toothpick. Ice with your choice of Icing. |
