HICKORY NUT PIE 
1 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. butter
2 eggs
1 c. cold water
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter than add sugar, flour, egg yolks and water. Cook until thickened, then add vanilla and 1 cup chopped hickory nuts. Pour into a baked 9 inch pie crust. Use egg whites for meringue.
