BANANA - PINEAPPLE COFFEE BREAD | |
2 c. sugar 1 c. vegetable shortening 1 (15 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained 3 sm. to med. bananas, sliced 4 eggs 2 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. baking soda In a large bowl cream sugar and shortening. Beat in drained pineapple and bananas. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Combine remaining dry ingredients and blend into batter. Turn into a greased and floured 10 inch Bundt or tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Cool in pan for 15 minutes before removing. Serves 12. |
