OLD FASHIONED STYLE DUMPLINGS | |
1 c. hot water 3 1/2 c. self-rising flour Gradually mix flour with hot water. Knead your dough until you can work it. Turn dough out on lightly floured board or pastry cloth. Roll out to 1/8 inch thick. Let stand about 1 hour. Cut with floured knife into 1 x 3 inch pieces. Drop in 2 quarts boiling broth without stirring. Then turn burner off. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes, then serve. |
