SHREDDED BEEF WITH GREEN PEPPER 
8 oz. tender beef

MARINADE:

2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. cold water
1/2 tbsp. wine
2 tsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. oil
3 green peppers
1 green onion
3 slices ginger
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. oil

Shred beef about 1 inch in length, mix with soy sauce, wine, oil, cornstarch, salt and soak for 1 hour. Clean green pepper, remove seeds and membrane, cut in halves and shred crosswise. Cut green onion and ginger into 1-inch lengths, shred, heat oil in pan, fry beef and stir briskly over high heat about 10 seconds, drain out.

Heat another 3 tablespoons oil in pan. Stir fry ginger and green onion, then add shredded green pepper, salt, sugar and stir well. Add beef, blend thoroughly and serve.
