16 oz. can crushed pineapple and juice 1 can fruit pie filling (cherry, apple, etc.) 1 regular size white cake mix 1/2 lb. butter Empty can of pineapple evenly over bottom of rectangular 9x13 inch cake pan. Empty can of pie filling over top of pineapple. Sprinkle cake mix evenly over pie filling and pineapple. Slice butter cubes into 12 pieces and place evenly over entire top of cake mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes until brown. This is a very quick and simple dessert, resembling a cobbler. |
