1 can fruit pie filling, cherry or apple, etc.
1 box cake mix
1/4 lb. of butter (some people use 1/2 lb.)

Grease pan approximately 9 x 9 inches. Pour in fruit. Sprinkle cake mix over fruit. Melt butter and pour over cake mix. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
