CANDIED SWEET POTATOES 
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 stick butter
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla extract
4-5 lg. potatoes
Oil to fry potatoes

Cut potatoes as for French fries. Brown in skillet; drain. Pour the above mixture over the potatoes. Heat for above mixture over the potatoes. Heat for a few minutes to "candy". (Pour mixture over potatoes in the skillet.)
