PUMPKIN BARS & CREAM CHEESE
ICING
 
2 c. pumpkin
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. oil
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

ICING:

(3 oz.) cream cheese
3/4 stick butter
1 2/3 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. milk

Mix together well in bowl: pumpkin, sugar and oil. Sift together flour, salt, cinnamon and soda. Add to pumpkin mixture. Stir in nuts. Bake in ungreased sheet cake pan in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes; cool.

ICING: Beat softened cream cheese and butter. Add powdered sugar and milk. Beat until smooth and creamy. Frost cooled bars. Can sprinkle chopped nuts on top if desired.
