MEAT PIE 
CRUST:

4 oz. tomato sauce
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/4 c. chopped onions
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped bell pepper
1/8 tsp. oregano

FILLING:

1 1/3 c. minute rice
12 oz. tomato sauce
1 c. grated cheese
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt

CRUST: Combine all ingredients and mix well. Pat meat mixture into bottom of greased 9" pie plate and pinch around edges; set aside.

FILLING: Combine rice, tomato sauce, salt, water, 1/4 cup cheese. Spoon rice mixture onto meat shell and cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle top with rest of cheese. Return to oven and bake uncovered 10 to 15 minutes. Cut into pie shaped pieces before serving.
