PEACH KUCHEN | |
1/2 c. softened butter 1/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 egg 1 c. all purpose flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 29 oz. can sliced peaches, well drained 3 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9" springform pan. In large bowl beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and egg; beat well. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Blend well. Spread dough over bottom and 1" up the sides of the pan. Arrange peach slices in spoke fashion over dough, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool 10 minutes. Remove side of pan. Serves 8. |
