ONE CRUST RAISIN PIE | |
1 c. raisins 2/3 c. sugar 1/2 c. water 1/2 c. milk or light cream 3 tsp. flour 2 egg yolks Pinch of salt Cook raisins, sugar, water until tender, be sure there remains 1/2 cup water on raisins. When tender, mix the egg yolks, flour and salt and cream. Add to raisin mixture. Cook and stir until thick, a few minutes. Put into a baked pie shell, top with meringue and brown in oven. This is a delicious pie. |
