BUSY DAY CABBAGE ROLLS 
2 tbsp. shortening
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 lbs. ground chuck
1/2 c. rice, cooked
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup
1 soup can water or tomato juice
Salt and pepper to taste
3 lb. head of cabbage, cut in half

Melt shortening in skillet. Add onion, chuck, salt and pepper, and brown until golden. Add cooked rice and mix well. Grease 9x13 inch pan. Cut half head of cabbage finely and place in pan. Add meat mixture. Cut remaining half head of cabbage finely and lay over meat mixture. Mix soup with water or juice and pour over cabbage. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes. Serves 10.
