WILD RICE BACON | |
2 c. raw wild rice 4 c. water 2 tsp. salt 2 lb. lean ground beef 1 lb. fresh mushrooms 1/2 c. chopped celery 1/2 c. butter 1/4 c. soy sauce 2 c. dairy sour cream 2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 c. slivered almonds Gently cook wild rice and 2 teaspoon salt, covered, for 45 minutes. Brown ground beef. Saute onions, celery and mushrooms in butter 5 minutes. Combine ALL ingredients and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, uncovered. Serves 12 to 16 people. |
