SAUERKRAUT BALLS 
Happy New Year!

1 lb. sausage
1/2 cup diced onion
1 large can kraut, drained and chopped
4 tbsp. parsley
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
4 tbsp. bread crumbs
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
flour, for rolling
4 eggs, beaten with egg
2 tbsp. milk
1/4 lb. cracker crumbs, rolled fine

Brown sausage and onion together; drain. Mix sausage, onion, kraut, parsley, garlic salt, bread crumbs and cream cheese. Chill. After chilling, form into small balls. Roll in flour. Dip in egg and milk mixture. Roll in the cracker crumbs. Fry until brown in hot grease. Drain.

Makes approximately 36 balls.
