OVEN BARBECUED BRISKET 
1 (3 lb.) brisket
2 tbsp. liquid smoke
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. celery seed
2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. onion salt

Place brisket fat side up in a shallow 2 1/2-quart casserole. Combine remaining ingredients, except Barbecue Sauce, mixing well. Pour mixture over brisket. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Place covered casserole in oven and bake at 250°F for 5 hours. Remove brisket from casserole. Discard marinade. Cut brisket diagonally across the grain in thin slices. Return sliced brisket to casserole and add Barbecue Sauce.

Bake, uncovered, at 300°F for 30 minutes. Serve.

Barbecue Sauce:

2/3 c. catsup
1/2 c. red wine vinegar or cider vinegar
1/4 c. + 2 tbsp. firmly packed dark brown sugar
2 tsp. prepared mustard
2 tbsp. instant minced onions
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika
