STRAWBERRY PIE 
8 oz. cream cheese
2 tbsp. milk
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. almond extract
9 inch baked pastry shell
4 c. fresh halved strawberries
1/3 c. sugar plus 1 tbsp.
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2/3 c. water
Few drops red food color

Combine cream cheese, milk, 2 tablespoons sugar and extract and mix until well blended. Spread on bottom of crust and cover with 3 1/2 cups strawberries. Combine sugar and cornstarch in saucepan; add water and the rest of the strawberries, mashed. Stir over medium heat until thickened and clear. Cool. Pour over strawberries. Chill.
