SOUTH OF THE BORDER CHICKEN 
6 chicken breasts
1 lg. green pepper, cut into rings
1 lg. onion, cut into rings
1 jar taco sauce (hot or mild, or salsa sauce)
2 tbsp. chili powder

Bake chicken breast in baking pan for 30 minutes, skin side down. Turn over for skin side up. Put green pepper on top of chicken. Sprinkle chili powder over chicken. Add taco sauce. Bake 30 minutes more or until chicken is done. Bake at 350 degrees.

Campers: Use this recipe using one or two pieces of chicken. Wrap in 2 layers of tin foil and cook on open fire or charcoal. Add a little water with chicken. Wrap loosely. Be careful not to let it cook too fast. A real tasty outdoor treat!
