1/2 lb. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 egg
3 c. flour

Mix well. Roll out dough and cut with cookie cutters. Bake at 325 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Put matching cookies together with jelly in center. Then ice and put candy on top.

ICING:

1 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. milk
1/4 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt
2 tbsp. butter
