MILE HIGH BISCUITS - FROZEN 
3 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar (or less)
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg, beaten
1 1/8 c. milk

Combine dry ingredients, cut in shortening. Add beaten egg and milk. Mix to a ball. Put on floured board, knead 10 to 12 times. Roll out about 3/4 inch thick and cut. Place on ungreased sheet and freeze. Store in plastic bag. To bake put on lightly greased pan. Bake 10 minutes in 400 degree oven.

Very good biscuits, though I find them to be better suited to be "drop" biscuits with this much milk. Also, I cut biscuit size squares of parchment paper to "drop" them onto,before freezing, to minimize (completely) cleanup, since husband will most likely be baking these in the near future!
