No Yeast Pizza Dough

For those who are concerned about this being a 'real' pizza crust - remember it's an alternative yeast-free crust. This is basically a biscuit dough so it's going to behave and taste like a biscuit dough. The comments about brushing with garlic butter are brilliant!

Just finished making & eating this pizza dough. All in all it was not bad. Certainly it earned a solid pass for a weeknight meal. It will likely get added to my "make again" file, although we'll see how often it makes it to the top of the list.

My only caveat: it's VERY dense, so it will fill you up quickly. I should have tried to get it rolled thinner than I got it & it wouldn't have felt so dense.

Delicious! Really turned out well! The only thing I did differently was that I added a little extra olive oil, maybe about a half tbsp more. I also used whole wheat flour and it still turned out great!

We enjoy this pizza. I don't know how many times we've used this recipe since we found it. It's been a while since we have had yeast in the house. This is a good-tasting, easy, and quick pizza crust.

It was an okay recipe. It was a quick fix because I didn't have time to make a yeast dough but not sure if I'd try it again.

It wasn't horrible, the kids ate tons of it. But to be perfectly honest, it tastes to me like a matzo cracker. But pizza sauce with seasonings and cheese tastes good on anything so it wasn't a loss.

Terrible. Recipe was off by about a half cup of water to begin with and when cooked the pizza crust was too dense and tasted like play dough. Raw in places, even when rolled thin and cooked for 25 minutes at 400°F in a professional oven. If you are looking for that flaky, airy pizza crust then stay away from this recipe.

Bottom line: If you don't have yeast then don't make pizza dough.

Pros:
- fast and easy
- tasted so-so, better than nothing
- if you add all the trimmings, seasoning, sauce, olive oil, lots of mozzarella cheese, garlic, etc.. can be okay
- okay flatbread

Cons:
- didn't brown up (but that could be due to not putting butter on top?)
- wasn't as tasty as yeast bread

I was disappointed in this crust after all the great reviews. It was quick to prepare, which i needed because i forgot to make crust earlier in the day. But it was too thick, chewy and very bland tasting.

This crust was sooo easy to make. It's my 1st time. My children helped add the toppings and we can't wait for it to come out of the oven. Such a fun family thing to do
