Oven Cooked Fall off the Bone Ribs

Is this fresh, grated ginger?

 Cooks.com replies:
Hi Judy,

The recipe is referring to ground ginger, but you could also use freshly grated ginger. Since fresh ginger doesn't have as much concentrated flavor as the ground ginger, try increasing the fresh ginger to 1 teaspoon instead (if you like a ginger flavor).

OK recipe, but pork ribs DO NOT fall off the bone. I would recommend smoking pork ribs all day to get an awesome flavor.

Best ribs ever!! I usually let my husband BBQ his ribs outside, not this time! This is my new way to cook ribs!! Simply fabulous!! Sweet baby ray's BBQ sauce is my favorite to use!

We changed it up and did a dry rub with sauce on the side. This recipe is low mess and no fuss! I usually smoke baby backs with a dry rub and get rave reviews from the neighbors - no leftovers here! We even lost the recipe from the first time we did it 2 months ago and still re-created it. It's great for those below zero Minnesota winter evenings when you don't want to be outside. Thank you for the recipe JC!

JC great recipe. I took about 15 to 25 mins off the end and threw them on the grill from some good caramelization and they were great. Keep sending the recipes!

I made these today. Tweaked the dry rub a little adding brown sugar, dry mustard, white pepper and a little garlic powder. I covered the ribs with foil while cooking. Except for the last 30 minutes. The ribs came out pretty tender...not quite fall off the bone but still good. I did turn up the heat for the last five minutes to get the brown sugar to carmelize....I added the sauce when I took them out of oven

Great recipe and easy for days when you cant get out to the grill due to weather, the rib meat was tender and fell off the bone. I used Old Bay instead of meat tenderizer, yum!

Try adding liquid smoke to the bottom of the broiler for a little extra smoke flavor. I also always throw them on the grill for 5-10 mins with wood chips to get them crispy and add a little more smoke flavor. I prefer apple wood but hickory would work well too

Great recipe, but I cooked the ribs for 1 hr at 250°F then added BBQ sauce and resumed cooking for 30 min per side at 400°F.
