SOUR CREAM OATMEAL COOKIES 
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup dairy sour cream
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups oatmeal
pinch of salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
raisins, chopped nuts or chocolate chips (optional)

Cream butter and brown sugar; add beaten eggs, sour cream and baking soda. Beat well; stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by teaspoon on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.
