STRAWBERRY PIE 
1 pt. fresh strawberries, sliced
1 baked pie shell
1 c. sugar
1 c. hot water
3 tbsp. cornstarch
3 tbsp. strawberry Jello
Few drops red food coloring, if desired
Cool Whip

Place strawberries in baked pie shell. Mix together sugar and cornstarch in saucepan. Add water and heat until mixture thickens, stirring continuously. Remove from heat and stir in Jello and food coloring. Pour over strawberries. Chill and top with Cool Whip. Serves 6-8.
