BANANA BREAD 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, room temperature
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. unbleached flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. mashed, very ripe bananas
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Add dry ingredients. Mix well. Add bananas, sour cream, and vanilla. Stir well. Add nuts. Pour into well greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch pan. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
