BANANA NUT BREAD 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. sour cream
1 c. mashed bananas (the riper the better)
1/2 c. chopped nuts (your choice)

Cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Sift together flour and soda. Add to butter mixture, a little at a time, blending well after each addition. Stir in sour cream and mashed bananas. Fold in nuts. Pour in loaf pan.

Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes.
