BANANA NUT BREAD 
3/4 c. oil
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. mashed bananas
2 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. baking soda
4 tbsp. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped walnuts

Stir together soda and buttermilk in a small bowl. Combine oil and sugar. Add bananas, flour, eggs, soda and buttermilk mixture, vanilla and nuts. Stir together. Fill 2 small loaf pans 3/4 full.

Bake at 325°F for 50 minutes.
