1 c. sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. oil
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
4 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. vanilla

Cream sugars with butter. Beat in eggs and oil. Combine dry ingredients. Gradually add to mixture. Stir in flavorings. Refrigerate overnight or several hours. Form dough into small balls. Place on cookie sheet. Flatten cookies with a glass and sprinkle sugar on top. Bake 12 minutes at 350 degrees.
