MEAT 'N TATER PIE 
Pastry for two crust pie
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. milk
1/2 env. (3 tbsp.) dry onion soup mix
Dash pepper
Dash allspice
1 (12 oz.) pkg. loose packed frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed

Line 9" pie plate with pastry. Combine meat, milk, soup mix, pepper and allspice, mix gently. Lightly pat into pie crust. Top with potatoes. Place top crust over potatoes; seal and flute edge. Cut design in top crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until browned. Serve with warm catsup if desired. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
