PATRIOTIC JELLO MOLD 
3 oz. strawberry Jello
10 oz. frozen strawberries
1 1/3 c. boiling water
Optional: 1/2 c. walnut pieces

WHITE LAYER:

3 oz. lemon Jello
1 c. boiling water
1 pt. vanilla ice cream
Optional: 1 sliced banana

BLUE LAYER:

3 oz. black cherry Jello or black raspberry
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. cold water
1 1/2 c. frozen blueberries, mashed

RED LAYER: Dissolve strawberry Jello in 1 1/3 cups boiling water. Add frozen strawberries. Stir gently until fruit thaws and separates. Chill until thickened. (Add walnuts now.) Pour into mold and chill until set, but not firm.

WHITE LAYER: Dissolve lemon Jello in 1 cup boiling water. Blend in ice cream, beat until smooth. Chill until thickened. Spoon over red layer. Chill until set but not firm.

BLUE LAYER: Dissolve Jello and sugar in 1 cup boiling water. Add 1/2 cup cold water and chill until thickened. Stir in blueberries and spoon over white layer. Chill overnight or until firm.
