SOUR CREAM JELLO MOLD | |
1 lg. pkg. strawberry Jello 2 1/2 c. boiling water 2 (not overly ripe) bananas 1 pt. frozen strawberries 1 sm. can crushed pineapple 1 pt. dairy sour cream Dissolve Jello in boiling water. Coarsely mash bananas. Add bananas, pineapple, and frozen strawberries to Jello until strawberries dissolve. Pour half of the mixture into a mold and chill until set (about 1 hour). Spread sour cream over set mold. Pour remaining mixture over sour cream and chill until completely set. Unmold and cut into slices. May be served as a dessert or as a complement to any main dish, especially fowl. |
