REESE'S PEANUT BUTTER CUPS
COOKIES
 
3/4 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. shortening
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. packed light brown sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda

About 30 Reese's peanut butter cup miniatures

Heat oven at 350 degrees. In large mixer bowl, cream peanut butter, shortening, 1/3 cup sugar and brown sugar. Add egg, milk and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour and baking soda; gradually add to cream mixture, blending thoroughly. Shape dough into 1 1/2 inch balls, roll in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, bake 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven.

Immediately place unwrapped peanut butter cup on top of each cookie, pressing down so that cookie cracks around edges. Cool slightly. Remove from cookie sheet onto wire rack. Cool completely. About 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
