MACADAMIA NUT CHEESE BISCUITS | |
1 1/2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. butter, soft 1/4 lb. Swiss cheese, grated 1 egg 1/3 c. chopped macadamia nuts Sift flour with salt. Blend butter, cheese and egg. Gradually work in flour and nuts. Mold into roll 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Wrap in waxed paper and chill until firm. Slice dough into 1/4 inch thick discs. Place on lightly greased baking sheets and bake in 400 degree oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Yield: 3 dozen. |
