LUCHOW'S COLE SLAW 
1 head white cabbage
2 qts. boiling water
2 onions, shredded, fine
1 or 2 green peppers, shredded fine
1/4 c. vinegar
2 egg yolks, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. olive oil
1 c. sour cream

Wash cabbage; slice or cut fine. Scald 5 minutes and drain well through colander; press out all water. Mix with onions, green peppers and vinegar. Beat eggs, salt and pepper together; add oil gradually, beating steadily. Pour over cabbage mixture; stir well. Pour sour cream over and stir until evenly mixed. Serves 4 to 6.
