 Mindy (Florida) says:
Just made these. I, think 3 cups of oats make the cookies too dry. Next time I think I will add 2 cups of oats and a little more peanut butter. Other than that they tasted good.

My mom and grandmother made these for my sister, my 2 cousins and I growing up. I loved them then and still love them now! I made these a few years ago for my son's 10th birthday party... They were a instant hit! So this year for my birthday I told my husband and my son I didn't want a cake but instead for them to make me these cookies. They did and again the cookies were a hit just this time I ate them all!

My mom also made this recipe and we always loved it. It is my go-to cookie recipe when I don't have a lot of time. I always have the ingredients, too. We always use peanut butter, but I am definitely going to try coconut in the future.

I am wondering if anyone has found a suitable alternative to sugar? Not an artificial sweetener, something like apple sauce. I've heard of people using apple sauce to replace sugar in recipes but I'm scared to use it in a no bake recipe.
