Great recipe. Turned out really well, and very easy. This was the one I was searching for -- didn't know there were so many recipes that use peanut butter, but since I needed a nut-free recipe, this was perfect. Thanks.

For the recipe I used brown sugar instead of regular and did part peanut butter part Nutella. While the sugar concoction was cooking I also added 1 tsp. cinnamon... SOOOOO GOOOD!

I could live on these! I use less oatmeal (quick rolled oats)and substitute the volume with shredded unsweetened coconut! add coconut (about 1/2 and 1/2) BEFORE the oatmeal, stir and fully coat it with the chocolate then add the oatmeal to stiffen the mix. Chocolate and coconut are a match you can't beat. Enjoy!

My grandson made these for the first time by himself. Everyone loved them. He could hardly wait for the boiling to start. They smelled so good it made the wait easier. I had to look a long time to find this exact recipe. It was well worth the wait.

We got barely three spoonfulls of the stuff out of the pan & it was pretty much hardened inside the pan. Followed the recipe exactly. Tasted good though.
