AUDREY'S BEST ALFREDO SAUCE
(FROM SCRATCH)

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 cup milk (or more)
1 (16 oz.) pkg. shredded Parmesan cheese
2 cloves pressed garlic
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tbsp. oregano

In a pot melt a whole stick of butter on low heat, slowly so it doesn't burn. When it is totally melted add cream cheese, melting slowly the same way so it doesn't burn.

When melted, add garlic, garlic salt and 1 cup of milk and the whole package of Parmesan cheese. Slowly melt, adding oregano when it's melted.

Note: The whole process should take about an hour if done slow enough.

Add more milk for a thinner sauce - up to 2 cups total.
