AUSTRALIAN PEPPER STEAK 
2 lbs. round steak
2 crushed cloves garlic
2 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 tsp. celery salt
3 1/4 c. canned tomatoes
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 c. chopped onions
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 beef bouillon cube
1 lg. thinly sliced green pepper

Trim fat from steak. Cut into thin strips. Brown meat, onion, and garlic in butter and oil in large skillet. Add salt, celery salt, pepper, tomatoes (cut up), bouillon cube and green pepper. Cover and simmer 30 to 45 minutes or until meat is tender. Combine cornstarch and Worcestershire sauce; stir into meat mixture. Cook until thickened. Serve with mashed potatoes, cooked rice or noodles. Makes 6 servings.
