CHICKEN CANAPES 
1 (5 oz.) can chicken spread
2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese with chives
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
24 slices party size rye bread
4 tbsp. butter
1 med. size cucumber

Blend chicken spread with cheese, salt and pepper in small bowl. Spread each slice of bread with 1/2 teaspoon butter. Cut 24 thin even slices from cucumber into tiny wedges for garnish. Spoon 1 teaspoon chicken mixture on each cucumber slice; place on bread. Garnish each with 2 wedges of cucumber, butterfly style. Makes 12 servings.
