MAC AND CHEESE WITH SAUSAGE TOPPING | |
2 c. or 8 oz. elbow macaroni 1 lb. pork sausage 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 green pepper, chopped 2 tbsp. flour 2 c. milk About 3/4 lb. cheese Cook macaroni. Brown sausage. Add onion and green pepper. Cook about 10 minutes. Stir in flour and cook 1 minute. Add milk and cook until bubbly and thick. Layer mac and cheese in LARGE casserole. Top with sausage mixture. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. |
